ResizingThis is my biggest problem! Why does the server not allowing to resize the image? 246 pages on Prime Numbers Wiki (+1) #2 20130630 19:13:25
Re: ResizingHi; In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #3 20130630 19:45:04
Re: ResizingHi bobbym, I have an avatar that is less than 80 by 80 but bigger than 10 KB. But, they said that they will not resize it. WHy? 246 pages on Prime Numbers Wiki (+1) #4 20130630 19:58:40

Who is they? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #5 20130706 09:57:37

Re: ResizingIf it is bigger than 10KB you have to get it smaller than that. You will need some program to either remove frames or resize each frame. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #7 20130706 12:59:21
Re: ResizingWhy don't you allow picture signatures on the forum? 'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.' Re: ResizingThat is one I do not know. Could be speed... In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. Re: ResizingOK but you can enable pictures within a limited size. 'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.' Re: ResizingYes, but remember the metaphor... In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #13 20130706 15:03:39

Re: ResizingI think speed would be the biggest problem with images in sigs, especially for people with a really slow connection. The limit operator is just an excuse for doing something you know you can't. “It's the subject that nobody knows anything about that we can all talk about!” ― Richard Feynman “Taking a new step, uttering a new word, is what people fear most.” ― Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Crime and Punishment #18 20130706 23:40:47

Re: ResizingThe pictures probably. But that does give me an idea. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof.
