Re: Alarming

Hi;

I would never use that newfangled digital sand idea. Real sand and only real sand for me. The kind my grandpappies threw at each other in fights.

Re: Alarming

Nope, I am old fashioned when it comes to sand. It is true that I do not see real sand anymore. You know, the type without beer cans and soda bottles mixed in. Next time I am in Australia I am going to cart away 100 tons or so of beautiful sand.

Re: Alarming

You'd better be quick, then, before Climate Change swallows it all up.

Re: Alarming

Climate change? Our best scientists assure everyone that is a hoax. It is natural to be flooded in the desert.

Re: Alarming

Ok, that's good. I rest assured. So it will never happen - except in the desert, where I'm not - so I'm safe. Inland Australia will be flooded, but our beaches will be preserved. We'll look like a doughnut!

Re: Alarming

I love those doughnuts. Just a plain brown doughnut. No sticky chocolate. No funky white powder. These climatologists sure know how to make a country appealing. Australia, the land of the doughnut!

Okay, if that is the way you like it.

"That's the way, uh-huh uh-huh,
I like it, uh-huh, uh-huh."

Without the hole, but with jam, is excellent too.

I don't average more than about 1 a year (it never enters my head to get one, but when I do...YUM). Just as well, I think...I'd blow up like a balloon. Far too moreish.

I thought that a doughnut without a hole is a danish?

Re: Alarming

Maybe, but I've never heard of or seen one of those here. I just know them as 'jam doughnuts', which I guess is what they call them here...but like I said, I rarely get them and so I don't know much about them.

Re: Alarming

Hi;

Have you ever had a Croissant?

I used to be partial to these:

Re: Alarming

Yes...they're very nice! But I'm just not tempted to go out and buy food like that and would never buy one. I'd only have one if I were invited out to dinner and they happened to have them there. I try to eat healthily.
