Covering a square by circles

There is a square which can be covered by 25 circles each of radius 2 cm (by this, I mean some parts of these circles can overlap, some parts can be outside the square: just that the interior of the square can be covered by these 25 circles).

Is there a way to cover the same square by using 100 circles each of radius 1cm ?
