Re: Brittle math 2: Generalizing is a disease.

Why did you have to put that in hide tags?

Are you asking me to calculate that?

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.

The question here is

What is happening here?

What is the question for brittle 1?

Hmmm, is not Brad being asked a question?

Yes, but that is for Brad?

What is the question for us?

Re: Brittle math 2: Generalizing is a disease.

You are given no clues, no input except to throw you off. It defeats the purpose of the questions if any hints are given. This is a test for you and only you. Everyone takes it in their own way. You are measured by your response. You only have a couple of minutes.

I do not want hints but what is the question?

I believe you are supposed to respond to it with the proper question.

You want me to find the appropriate question?

Re: Brittle math 2: Generalizing is a disease.

This thread does not look like a math thread, by the way.

It is very much connected with math though.

Good...that's reassuring and I'll now be able to sleep better.

Re: Brittle math 2: Generalizing is a disease.

True.

However, the sense in which I used "now" is non-specific time-wise; rather, it is "consequently". I'm not at all sleepy now, so if I went to bed now I definitely would not be able to sleep better.
