Differential equation, please help

Hi there,

How do I solve this equation where x is a function of time (t) and a, b and c are constants greater than zero

Its easy if it was not for the "-t" part in the denominator, but now I'm stuck... I'm interested in the solution where t i between 0 and b

Thanks in advance

Re: Differential equation, please help

First solve the homogeneous equation

[/*]
The variables are separable so should be straightforward.

Next find a particular solution to the given equation

[/*]
The general solution to the question is Ans 1 + Ans 2.
