step function

Hello, I'm trying to figure out a step function on positive integers, in detail:

f  :  N  -> {0,1}

f(x) =   1   if x>0
           0   if x=0

I'm having difficulties in writing this function, can someone help me please?

Re: step function

Could you be more precise about what exactly you need to do?

Sorry I needed a formula for f(x),   I figured out it is the sign function https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sign_function
