Guests can create threads, but can't post replies?

Guests are able to create threads in certain forums, such as Help Me ! and Guestbook. However, they are unable to reply to threads in those forums, including posting in their own thread. Is this intentional?

No. This is because the forum was updated last year and Mr. admin is not free to install the appropriate patches and tweak things to make things possible. bobbym is only a superior moderator with higher powers but no access to the server files and forumware. That's like God and his angles

I also had a solved award and Tigeree was a legendary member

I do not think the awards exist anymore that is why yours is gone.

zetafunc, I have reported the problem to MIF.

A similar bug, but not as important: this thread was created by a guest, and was replied to by Relentless, yet on the forum page it shows the last respondent as the guest.

I think that has to do with my habit for excessive editing. lol

Re: Guests can create threads, but can't post replies?

The same bug is now happening to other threads, but with a twist: I can't click on my post without getting a time-out, and I'm having trouble with editing, posting and deleting posts in that thread.

In fact, the same is true for this post: I can't click on it via the Suggestions and Comments forum.

I don't know tongue

Just came back to the forum though. But isn't it kind of paradoxical for that to happen?

Re: Guests can create threads, but can't post replies?

That is strange. I have always been a proponent of only members being able to do either.
