In a quadrilateral ABCD, angle ABC = 40 degrees, angle BCD = 100 degrees and angle CDA = 60 degrees. E is a point on BC such that AE bisects the angle BAD. Find the size of the angle AED if angle BCA = 44 degrees.
I found angle BEA = 80 degrees, angle EAC = 16 degrees, angle CAD = 64 degrees, angle ACD = 56 degrees. I still cant solve the q.
There is something wrong.
EAC = 16
CAD = 64
So EAD = 80
AEC = 100
ECD = 100
ADC = 60
So quad AECD has a sum of 340 degrees.
"In the real world, this would be a problem. But in mathematics, we can just define a place where this problem doesn't exist. So we'll go ahead and do that now..."
