[ASK] Reflected Parabola

Determine the reflection of a parabola

by the line y = -x.

I know how to do it graphically, but please tell me how to do it algebraically.


Actually I never watch Star Wars and not interested in it anyway, but I choose a Yoda card as my avatar in honor of our great friend bobbym who has passed away.

Try this:

Replace every x with y, and every y with x.  Then change all the signs on both x and y.

That gives:
