domain and range

see the domain from the following photo graph is [-2,2] and the Range is [2,-2]
the question can I swap the numbers of the Range? = [-2,2]
if I can't, why? pls explain

Yes you can and I think you should so that the range starts with the lower bound and goes up to the upper bound [lower,upper]

This is the convention that is usually adopted.  People should understand if you reverse it, the same as they would if you make a small speling mistake.
