rhiannon bought 48 animals from the local bangor fair for her farmyard.At the fair,goats cost 5 pounds sheep cost 3 pounds and chooks cost only 50 p.She paid exactly 100pounds,buying more chooks than sheep and more sheep than goats.
How many animals of each type did rihannon buy?
Please give me th answer after a few minutes for i will need it for school tomorrow which is monday:):|:(:::lol:
I don't know because she paid with exact 100pounds and a chook is 50 pounds. And if it has more chooks, then 2 chooks would be 100p. (dunno)

'p' is not short for pound...you should know that.
p = pence

This is easier if we first assume that Rhiannon bought 48 chooks and then alter it.
48 chooks cost £24, which is £76 too cheap. A sheep costs £2.50 more than a chook and a goat costs £4.50 more, so you now just need to find a combination of multiples of £2.50 and £4.50 which adds up to £76, whilst also remembering that there are more chooks than sheep and more sheep than goats.
Try using that and doing it by yourself first, and if you still can't, then here's what I get:
Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.

I somehow knew that 48 was significant...
