Please solve for : The midpoint between (-8,-6) and (25,3)

to find the midpoint of two points, you take the average.

so for the x-coordinate, the average is ((-8)+25)/2 = 17/2 = 8.5
so for the y-coordinate, the average is ((-6) + 3)/2 = (-3)/2 = -1.5

so the midpoint is (8.5, -1.5)

When two points (x1 , y1) and (x2 , y2) are given, then the formula for midpoint is

                                   {(x1+x2)/2 , (y1+y2)/2}
