find the equation of a line that has an undefined slope and that passes through (2,4).

m = 0

Re: undefined slope

No, that just has a slope of 0. It's not a very fun slope, but the slope still exists.

The slope is the amount that you go up the y-axis for every unit that you go along the x-axis.
Therefore, for the slope to be undefined, the line cannot move along the x-axis.

This means that x is constant and so your equation will looks like x = ?.

From the co-ordinate that you were given, the line has to go through (2,4) which means that its equation will be x = 2.

Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.
