Direct Variation

I am having some difficulty with direct variations. Can you help?

Here is the problem: A student earns $0.65 for each mistake she finds in a text. Sketch the equation of direct variation.

Thanks in advance for the help.

The equation you are looking for is y = .65*x

You can shear a sheep many times but skin him only once.
