area of a triangle...

How do I find the area of a triangle with no height and only the base? I don't have any other measurements. Let's see triangle OHA is in a circle... ON=NA, and r=5. I need to find the outside triangle which is NHA... the base is 5, right? But where do I go from there?

Re: area of a triangle...

O is the origin (center) of the circle.  I have no idea where anything else is...

Use ms paint, save as jpg
Go to www.imageshack.us , upload it, and post the link

assuming you have xp, paint can save as jpg, otherwise you'll need a program like image forge.

Re: area of a triangle...

I can draw a picture, but I already turned my wksht in... uh and we're on spring break.
I don't remember what the problem looks like exactly... if you can keep an eye out, I'd still like to know what the answer is. Thanks, I'll get it up soon.
