Mathematics and English
I have often butted my head against different mathematical terminology in different countries.
Obviously, maths, versus math. but there is lots more. I thought I might make a page on the subject ... here is what I have so far.
(Note: AU=Australia, CA=Canada, NZ=New Zealand)
PEMDAS US
BODMAS UK
BEDMAS CA
Co-interior angles CA, AU, UK, NZ
Consecutive Interior Angles US
Vertical Angles US
Vertically Opposite Angles UK, AU
least common multiple US
lowest common multiple UK, AU
Trapezium UK
Trapezoid US
Do you agree with those? Do you have any of your own you would like to contribute to the page?

Actually, BIDMAS is a more used term in the UK, rather than BODMAS. BODMAS is also used in the US except it isn't that popular.

I use least common multiple and lowest common multiple interchangeably. 
Well, actually, I dont use either term that much. I usually just say LCM.

greatest common divisor and greatest common factor.

I use the Highest Common Factor instead of the Greatest one.
Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.

It doesn't make any difference, but some people I know also use BOMDAS, instead.
