math ideas that involve whole school and/or parents, community

I wish to implement  schoolwide math activities that augment the regular program. Please share what you've done in your schools to demonstrate and encourage the fun of math. Would like to include the whole family in some kind of monthly math night.

I don't have a school, and I'm old, but math is basically anything at all, when you pick it apart, and examine it in great detail.  Subjects overlap, like the runnings of a court case are logical usually, but probably not really that mathematical, or are they?
And all architecture and carpentry is mathematical.
Any shape or object is math, right?
And it's art too.
And it's real, and it is perceived and remembered in the mind.
Try to get people to like math, by finding math in things they enjoy.
Don't turn down any subject, just go with it, and start a new branch of math.
