How do i find the absolute max and min of f?

How do i find the absolute max and min of f, if any, and find the exact values? f(x) = x / (x^2+2) [-1,4]

Re: How do i find the absolute max and min of f?

Differentiate f(x) and equate that to 0 to find any critical points that it has.

Then find f(x) at each of those points, and also at -1 and 4, and find the maximum and minimum of all those values.

Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.
