A cylindrical has radius 6.7 cm. and thickness 4 mm.

Caculate the new volume of the of the disc after the radius is increased by 20% and the thickness is reduced by 25%. Write your answer to 1d.p. (decimal place)

                                                          wink

Re: Help!!! Math Problem

The new radius is 6.7 x 1.2 = 8.04cm
The new thickness is 4 x 0.75 = 3mm = 0.3cm

Therefore, the new volume is π x 8.04² x 0.3 ≈ 60.9 cm³.

Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.
