cot^2(cot^2+1)=sec^2
bieng working on it for a while cant seem to get it...

ya i can do it when its tan, but i copied the problem from the exam before i turned it in and its cot... mabey she made a mistake...

In that case, its not an identity; its an equation and you need to solve for x.
