Arrangements
How many distinct 5 letter words cand be made by using letters in the word "LINDSAY" if:
a) there are no restrictions
b) D may not be used
c) D must be used

(a) This is straightforward.
(b) Same as (a) but make 5-letter words from LINSAY instead.
(c) (a) − (b).
