Someone on Discord - I assume most of you know what that is, but if not, it's a chat client a la Skype mixed in with IRC - asked me a few minutes ago when I started using the internet. I wasn't sure of the exact date, and I'm still not positive, since I know I lurked for some time before I made an account anywhere. What I did remember, though, is that this place was my first ever account on an internet forum or anything like it. I decided to log back in, since I still had my account info saved, and. Wow. It's incredibly strange, looking back at who I used to be.
I registered ten years ago as of yesterday. I feel comfortable telling you all this now: I was eight years old. I still remember my first post, or series of them, rather. I made something like... a quadruple post? Complete with a hotlinked image of a cat. I showed it to my brother immediately after and he explained internet forum etiquette to me, which was very sorely needed. Just skimming my old posts makes it so obvious how much I've changed, even in the superficial ways (my grammar was less bad than I expected, but my way of presenting myself was certainly worse). It's really nice to see that this forum has a bit of life to it, even after all these years. I've seen many forums rise and fall in the intervening time, and it's heartwarming to see that so many of the old users I remember are still alive and well here.
To say a little bit about what I've done in the past decade: I'm presently a freshman in a good STEM college on the east coast. I'm a computer science major, though I did seriously consider psychology. I've also gone through a great deal with mental health, much of which is less than pleasant to talk about, but I've been doing a lot better lately, and I've made a lot of dear friends, both on and off the internet. Also, I think I've grown to hate homework even more now than I did when I was here, which is honestly quite impressive.
I'm not exactly sure where I'm going with this. Still, I thought it was only right to say something, after logging into this account for the first time since 2015. I don't know if or when I'll be back, but I hope you're all doing well, wherever you may be, and I wish you only the best. Cheers. :)
It's apparently been only four months since I last posted here. It seem's like it's been forever!
While I won't be posting anywhere near as frequently (homework), I am still alive, and might be here a bit more often than every four months. So hi again, everyone!

Yes. I think we might want to wait to start in order to see if MIF comes on - then we can use PMs (and continue the long-standing tradition of MIF getting winked first.)
great game.
you know, you can use e-mails,but it's going to be slower because of the fact that more people will see PMs rather than e-mails.
That, and some of us are under 13 and can't reveal our emails.
Once everything goes, suddenly you understand
- dreams;
- surreal life energy;
- youth's surprisingly-yobbish, heartache-evoking, gestalt therapy yackety-yack;
- know-it-all, letter-perfect, terrifying "generals" (slowly, yet turbulently yshent...thence eschewed);
- DNA and DVDs;
- stacked data arrays' structure ends.
Subtly, you understand, dear reader reads situations stuck kelpie empty yet talks silently your reason nonetheless stupidly yearns secret yodels subtle energy yikes!
Could somebody put in punctuation to make this make sense?
I've been browsing through some old-but-good threads. One of those threads was...
Wink Murder.
The problem is, a significant amount of people who are active now don't have PMs available (eg. me, Steph123, soroban, etc.). Does MathsIsFun come around anymore? If he does, then we can actually play.
In the meantime, please register!
