I came up with some other solutions, but I like the one you have.
Here's one
(44/4)!!!!!!=11*5=55
That's a multifactorial, n!!!!!!=n*(n-6)*(n-12)...
Here's another
44/(.4!!) =44/(.8)=55
Again, that's a double factorial, n!!=n*(n-2)*(n-4)...
If .4 is ok it seems like .4!! should be ok, but it's not as clean as the other solution
