I don't know if there an aswer because I cannot seem to work it out. My dad who is a maths teacher asked me it this morning. I got A answer but I'm not sure if I got it right or not. I hope this is hard enough for you mathsy and irspow
In a forest there are 2000 trees. In the forest there are 6 types of trees;oak, willow, beech, apple, sneadin and the pear tree. The nearby town knew that and that there were more oak trees in the forest than the others-for eg:oak is 2 and the rest are 1,1,1,1,1-, the amount of all the other trees were all multiples of 2, 3 or 4.
With this information can you tell me how many willow trees there are in the forest.
Well done and thanks! I get a harder one next time which I will probably post in in 10 mins. Bye!
I meant wrong as in I don't think that you could weigh an elephant unless it was a toy on. Let me reword that sentence.Zach: I doubt that you could weigh an elephant but you got it right.Sorry for that confusion.
Double well done!
Was I right or not?
One day a engineer was ordered by his boss to measure the length of a road. However, the engineer had only a single piece of rope which he didn't know the length of.What he did learn was that if he stretched this rope out 30 times it would be 2m long. But if he did it 29 times it was 4m short.
Can you figure out the length of both the rope and the road?
Is that harder for you mathsy?
Hi! I am espeon.
Look who's talking! I think I'm starting to see lots of similarities between you and a baby.I think it may either be your lack of intelligence, wit, tact, humour and sophistication that does it. Yeah, I think , no, I KNOW I'm right.
Zach:wrong but close
irspow:completely correct. Right about the scale too.
Who asked you?
Well done. That was an easy one though. I'll send in my hard ones now
You weren't really rude to anyone except Zach. And he secretly likes it, so don't worry.
What is your signiture anyway
Thats quick Zach but it must of been really easy because I doubt you can even answer 1x1.
One day while inspecting workers unloading grain from sveral boats on a rocky river bank, the manager decided to give a prize of £1000. The catch was to tell him how to measure an elephant using only an elephant, a scale which was used for weighing sacks of grain, sacks of grainand the boats.
How did one of the workers win the prize by only using what he/she was given?
This one is tricky...
huh?
I can say sorry to anyone but Zach. I still have my pride. But luckily I am having a MUCH MUCH BETTER week than last week
Hi! Sorry if I was rude or anything earlier...I had a VERY BAD week.
A long time ago there was a village. The peasants there knew there were 2 types of creatures in the village pond-frogs and chans(a 3 legged creature). There were 3600 creatures and 13000 legs in the pond.
Can you figure out how many frogs and chans there were in the pond?
This is quite simple but still hard. I had to give my freind the answer because she just gave up
Right!
Hi! I am helen
easy. the answer is 4
Einstein wrote this when he was 6 yrs old.
1+2+3-4+5+6+78+9=100
Keeping the digits1-9 in acsending order and only using + and - signs can you make 100? How many solutions can you find?
(You are allowed to stick numbers together to make bigger numbers like 7+8=78)
