Yes, it must some bit of roundoff error in calculation. I do not see any reason for it to be different based on reversing the triangle.

Row 1: Sqrt[175²+250²]-0.7-1/0.7 = 303.035318964, which is very close to 303. Maybe so close that Geogebra's rounding tipped the result to just under 303.
And could your program be contributing in some way too?

New problem:
A cow is tied to one corner ( vertex ) of a 20 m square barn. The cow has a 50 m length of chain to keep it from escaping while it is grazing. How big is the cow's grazing area?
A says) Obviously a circle with a 50 m radius.
B says) Not quite, the barn interferes with that. It is closer to...
C says) I can not compute it even with a supercomputer.
D says) What is grazing?
E says) It is quite easy.
Can you answer the question?

a,b,c,d are positive and rational. The two chords are perpendicular. Neither chord is a radii. See the drawing below.
Can you find a general expression for the lengths of a,b,c,d? Or any expression showing what values would work?
