I made a mistake in the problem #1412. The problem should have been

'A and B can do a piece of work in 20 days and 12 days respectively. A started the work alone and then after 4 days B joined him till the completion of the work. How long did the work last?'

Mistake regretted.

#1413. The difference between the compound interest (compounded annually) and the simple interest on a sum of $1000 at a certain rate of interest for 2 years is $10. Find the rate of interest per annum.
