Re: 10 second questions

Hi anonimnystefy and bobbym,

I get the same as anonimnystefy, that is, 40 cubes. Well done!

#2924. A cube of edge 15 cm is immersed completely in a rectangular vessel containing water. If the dimensions of the base of vessel are 20 cm x 15 cm, find the rise in water level.

#2925. Three solid cubes of sides 1 cm, 6 cm, and 8 cm are melted to form a new cube. Find the surface area of the cube so formed.

Re: 10 second questions

Hi ganesh;

How come no one is getting my answer? I asked my brother and he said 40. I am beginning to think mine is wrong. I told him that in my universe, the one I live in, the answer is 5.

Re: 10 second questions

Hi bobbym,

I am equally perplexed to 2923. I continue....

Again, I get a different solution to 2924. I get 11.25 cm.

The solution 2925 is correct. Good work!

#2926.
