Re: Wink Murder

Image Awards is working!

Moderators can assign images to Members (Administration -> Image Awards on the left at bottom)

The only problem is I only have 3 images so far. Any good graphic designers want to create a "Wink Alive" and "Wink Dead" graphic. It should be about 150 pixels wide and 20 pixels high.

Cheers!

Re: Wink Murder

Yay graphics ^.^! I make a lot of graphics, I can give it a go if you like. Any special picture/words (other then alive or dead) or anything?

Yeah. She'll do it! My Fireworks has probably run out of free trial anyway.

Re: Wink Murder

Is there any way to confine the image awards to just this topic?
It would be a bit weird for someone to get their question answered by someone whose avatar says that they were killed by a giant eye or something.
If not, don't worry. Their reactions might be quite funny!

Re: Wink Murder

I doubt there is. It's all done with a database.

Maybe a wink or something. Feel free to use your imagination.

Also it may be best to NOT use the word "dead", because I got to thinking that it may be a bit scary for people who don't know what is going on. Possibly just use black a lot, or say "gone", or "winked".

Hasn't that already passed? Or does it mean the Friday coming up?

Re: Wink Murder

She wrote that on the 6th, which was a wednesday and she said next friday which technically means 'the friday after this friday', so I think she's coming back this friday.

Re: Wink Murder

Well, I'm in GMT so if justlookingforthemoment is in Australia, then she's either 12 hours in front or 12 hours behind me. (I'm not good with time-zones) That means that she would have written that sometime between tuesday and thursday, meaning that she will still be back on the 15th (GMT).

Re: Wink Murder

Yup, I am pretty sure it is in front. I am also in GMT. I know some people in Texas, and they are 6 hours behind, and Australia is the opposite direction as Texas is from my location.

Re: Wink Murder

She posted at 01:44 GMT, and I checked, so she's 9 hours in front of us, meaning that she would have posted on wednesday morning.

But we are also waiting on katecaroline's graphics. Where has she gone, anyway?

Re: Wink Murder

Ganesh: That's not too old! That's the perfect age for playing!
Picture it, you've had a really bad day at work, but you manage to get through it because you know that at the end of the day, you'll be able to check to see if someone's killed you. Doesn't that make it all worthwhile?
Besides, MathsIsFun is playing and I think he could probably say that's he's more than 10,000 days old.
Also, more people means more fun, so if you join in then the game would be better.
Justlookingforthemoment pointed out that with few people, it's obvious who the murderer is after a few rounds, so join in and then you can tell your children that you aided in a murder.

Wow, I'm a bad persuader!
