I found these slightly harder than the ones before, but still very nice.

For the "What is the pattern" puzzle it couldn't actually be stated that Stephen is the author. It is a well and long known one. Look-and-say Sequence

Very nice puzzles. My favorite is "broken stick."

"Cards in a square," is a mutually orthogonal Latin square. These are pretty widely known with many open questions.

**In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof.**

Good point. I have just put him as Author for all these new puzzles, there may be others that are mis-cited.
