Re: Bafflers?

Great. And I learned another M instruction. Thanks!

Yes, you have been introduced to Mr. Frobenius.

Re: Bafflers?

I heard of the numbers before, but I could not recall them, let alone know that M has such an instruction.

M is like having a 1000 mathematicians as your personal pals. They will instruct you, just reading the help is an education!

Re: Bafflers?

It truly is.

Got any new problems (preferably mathematical)?

Re: Bafflers?

New Problem:

A standard deck has its cards turned over one by one. Where is the most likely spots for the 2 red jacks?

A says) All positions have the same chance by super - duper symmetry.

B says) Not exactly A. The best positions are...

C says) Quiet B, I have the answer. The best position for the two red jacks is the 24th and 25 card.

D says) What is position?

E says) I got it!

A says) We must have the same answer!

What do you get?

Was the deck shuffled?

Re: Bafflers?

Hi;

That is all I have. If it was not shuffled and was right out of the box it would be easy to determine the position of them.
