I've did it just problems with getting final answer just have been cleared out. Sorry for disturbing
A right triangle is to be constructed using a piece of wire of length 2L. Find its dimensions if its area is to be maximum.
I need the steps please! Given answers: L(2-√2), L(2-√2), 2L(√2-1)
Oh yes,, I see that magnitudes of diagonals in 4 and 5 are wrong it must be 10√2 not 10
Thanld a lot!
I think both are ok but I need someone to confirm my answer.. Let's wait
Thanks for your efforts!
100 from a.b=abcosθ
I suggested that a=10 as the side length of the square equal 10cm, is that ok?
I solved it that way but I am not sure if I have did something wrong
Yes, i mean the dot product
Ok. No problem!
The circle with a dot inside means; scalar product
Post updated. Please enable me to include links in my posts to be able to add images quickly.. Thanks!
The problem with me is that I don't know how I will replace the vectors by which values?
The problem is attached in as an image.
Thabks a lot!
Reattached my solution.
Sincerely,
Omar
Thanks for your quick reply and concern, I am sorry for my late reply!
θ is the angle between the rode and the wall.
I have attached the way I've solved via it.
Thanks I have got it, the only confusion is that my book wrote the answer 30 only.
Sincerely,
Omar
Dears,
Quesion:AB is a uniform rod of length 50cm, and weight 20 newton, acting at its mid-point, rotates easily in a vertical plane about a fixed hinge at its end A. A couple having moment of magnitude 250 newton.cm acts on the rod in the same vertical plane. Find the measure of the inclination angle of the rod and the hinge reaction on the rod in the state of equilebrium.
Confusion:I reached to sinθ=1/2 then the confusion here is θ=30 only or 30 and 150 as sin150 also equal 1/2
Waiting your reply
Sincerely,
Omar
