#10 Re: Exercises » scilab programmes » 2014-01-01 01:10:46

question is
scilab program to find the root of eqn f(x,a)=a*cos(x)-x*e^(-a*x) for different values of a∈[1,10]

#11 Re: Exercises » scilab programmes » 2014-01-01 01:04:11

i dont know.
in question it is not clear that a is continous or not

i need scilab progam for
1. to obtain fibonacci series
2.to obtain non fibonacci series
3. to find the root of the equation f(x,a)=a*cos(x)-x*e(-a*x) for different values of a∈[1,10]
please reply soon.
it is imporant for my examsdunno

#16 Re: Help Me ! » logarithmic spiral » 2013-09-22 04:26:27

The spiral has the property that the angle φ between the tangent and radial line at the point (r, \theta) is constant. This property can be expressed in differential geometric terms as

arc cos[(r(θ), r'(θ)/||r(θ)||*||r'(θ)]=arctan(1/b)=⏀

#17 Re: Help Me ! » logarithmic spiral » 2013-09-22 04:07:06

is there any particular formula?
without using any formula how to find θ
as radius varies  θ also varies right?

in polar coordinates, the logarithmic spiral is given by r=ae^(bθ)
how find θ and how to draw logarithmic spiral

thank you
which is that journal devoted to fibonacci sequence

#21 Re: Introductions » Hi :) » 2013-09-19 05:11:29

this is similar to fibonacci spirals

#22 Re: Introductions » Hi :) » 2013-09-19 05:03:35

okay.
then what are logarithmic spirals

#25 Re: Introductions » Hi :) » 2013-09-19 04:45:08

ok... can you give me some explanation and some simple example on branching angle, distance between nodes and number of branches per branch point in L system. i saw an example on algae but i dint understand it.
