2.The ratio of prices of two houses is 16:23. 2 years later when the price of the first has risen by 10%, and that of the second by 500,the new ratio became 11:20.find the original price of two houses.

Please solve this in the easiest way in shortest possible time:
An amount of money was divided between some person in such a way that if there had been 4 more people, everyone would have got tk 16 less but if there had been 4 less people, every one would got tk 24 more. How many people were there?

Can anyone solve these maths?
1.if log(x+y) =log x +log y, thn prove, 1/x + 1/y =1
2. If X^2 +y^2=7xy, then prove log(x+y)=log3+ 1/2log xy

ABC + DEF = GHIJ
solution is given : 437 + 589 = 1026
or
743 + 859 = 1602
how is this possible ??
