volume is not defined for rectangles, squares, circles
So does a triangle have a volume? I guess no
ok it makes sence.
Im actually required to search the volume for
1. square
2. rectangle
3. Triangle
4. circle
To find the volume for square do I use the cube formula which a x a x a?. Same to find the volume of rectangle do I use the rectangle prism formula which is L * W * H? Same goes for triangle and circle...
1. Area of Rectangle = L * W
2. Area of Square = S * S
3. Area of Triangle = (B * H) / 2
4. Area of Circle = 3.142 * (r * r)
I would like to find out is the volume for
1. square = cube
2. rectangle = rectangle prism
3. Triangle = pyramid
4. circle = sphere
Thank You.
I tried to proof that (x.y) + (x~.z) + (x~.y.z~) = y + (x~.z) but im getting an invalid answer:
(x.y) + (x~.z) + (x~.y.z~) = y + (x~.z)
(x.y) + (x~.y.z~) + (x~.z)
y(x+x~.z~) + (x~.z) Distributive law
y(1.z~) + (x~.z) Laws of exclude middle
y(z~) + (x~.z)
Is my steps correct?
Also I tried this:
(x.y.z) + (x~+z~) = (x.z) + (x~.z~)
y.(x.z) + (x~+z~) Associative law
1.(x.z) + (x~+z~) Identity law
(x.z) + (x~+z~)
and I manage to get a valid answer.
Is my steps correct?
Regards.
