I know! My A level Maths friend has answered it for me! His answer is as follows:
of course as you had 847 customers before you want to get this down to 1. so divide 847 and 720 by 847. This gives a ratio of 1 : 0.85. You can use the same method to work out ratios for all sorts of stuff (conveniant!)
I am not sure! Customers that shopped in the store before the refit to after! Is that not a ratio that can be worked out! I sound so thick!
Now i find myself facing my final challenge the ratio! My chosen data this time is 847 customers before the refit to 720 after the refit! How do i work out the ratio???? Can i do it simply?
Thank you for coming back to me! I really do appreciate it! I am doing a project on shop sales before a refit and after a refit, i have snap a snap shot of data for each and now realize that the data i have chosen might not of been the best snap shot or may be far to complicated for my ability. Can i safely say that there is no mode, or is that not a mathematical thing to say?
Pleas help me i do not know how to work out the mode for these 4 numbers 92,113,77 and 84! Is it possible? If there is no mode do they all become the mode??
