I need help with these questions. I don't remember how to do them. I answered question 16 already, I just need help with 12-15 and 17-20.

12. How does the sum of the exterior angles of a square compare to the sum of the exterior angles of a pentagon?

Use the image below to answer questions 13 and 14.

13. If the shape in the center of the image is a regular polygon, what is the measure of EACH interior angle?

14. What is the value of x in the image above?

15. What is the length of the line segment with endpoints  ?

16. A right circular cylinder has a base diameter of 12 meters and a height of 16 meters. What is the approximate total lateral surface area of the cylinder?
A= 829.4 m^2
17. The volume of a cone is 218 cubic centimeters and the height of the cone is 13 centimeters. What is the radius of the cone to the nearest whole number?

18. In the diagram shown, a 12-foot slide is attached to a swing set. The slide makes a  angle with the swing set. What is the height of the top of the slide (as close as you can get)?

19. A regular hexagon is inscribed in a circle with a radius of 10 meters. What is the length of each side of the hexagon?

20. Calculate the area of the shaded region in the figure shown.

I don't need to find numbers. so the area would be A=(pi)r^2?

#35 Re: Help Me ! » I have read other posts and im still confused! » 2016-06-01 02:47:04

I read that post 2-3 times and I'm still confused. I got the volume is 4/3(pi)*ab^2, but I'm not sure what the area is?

That does not help with 7 but it helps with 1 through 6.

1. If a hexagon has a side of 3 units, what is the area of the hexagon?
A= 23.38
2. If a hexagon has an area of 100 units, what is the length of one side?
S= 6.20
3. If a hexagon has a radius (center to point of angle) of 6, what is the side of the hexagon?
S=6
4. If a hexagon has a side length of 6, what is the area of the hexagon?
A=  93.53
5. If a hexagon is resting on a flat side, and has a total height of 18, what is the length of each side of the hexagon?
S= 10.39
6. If a hexagon is resting on a flat side, and has a total height of 18, what is the area of the hexagon?
A= 280.59
7. Problem solver (worth 4 points): Come up with a way to find the area and volume of a football. Include in your answer a way to acquire any necessary measurements without cutting or otherwise destroying the football. Also include all necessary formulas to implement your idea. (You don't need to find actual numbers, just outline the method in step by step detail--think of all the measurements you'll need to acquire and how you'll get them.) *I need help with this one*

Calculate the area for each of the polygons below. If you do not know an equation to use, divide the polygon into other shapes to determine the area.

2. A square with a side of 2 feet
A=2 sq ft
