Shamshad Ali buys a scooter for Rs 22000. He pays Rs 4000 cash and agrees to
pay the balance in annual instalment of Rs 1000 plus 10% interest on the unpaid
amount. How much will the scooter cost him?
THE SUM SHOULD BE DONE IN A.P OR G.P....

A farmer buys a used tractor for Rs 12000. He pays Rs 6000 cash and agrees to
pay the balance in annual instalments of Rs 500 plus 12interest on the unpaid
amount. How much will the tractor cost him?
The solution should be in A.P or G.P . and iam not able to understand which progression it is . And please help me to start the sum.

WHAT IS THE PRODUCT OF nTERMS OF G.P.

please help me out  with this two problems.

If  G.P consists of an even number of terms. I the sum of all terms is 5 times the sum of terms occupied by odd places, then find its common ratio.

If let S be the sum , P the product  and  R the sum of reciprocals of n terms in a G.P . Prove that  P^2R^n=S^n

1: In how many ways can the letter of the word "PERMUTATIONS" be arranged if there are always 4 letters between P & s ?

2: In how many ways can a student choose a programme of 5 courses if 9 courses are available and 2 specific courses are compulsary for every student?

3.  In how many ways can one select a cricket team of 11 from 17 players in which only 5 players can bowl if each cricket team of 11 must include exactly 4 bowlers.
