A cylindrical tunnel 5.5m in diameter is driven through  a mountain for a distance   of 7km. the ezcavated earth i s spread to a depth of  50cm on the surface of a  road 11m wide. Calculate the number of ilometers of the road that can  be covered with all of the excavated earth. (Take pi as 22/7)

A cylindrical tower 7.5m high is surmounted by a dome 6m in diameter, on the top of which is a spike. A boy whose eye is 1.5m from the ground can just see the  tip of the spike over the curve of the dome when his line of sight is at an elevation of 40°.Calculate the length of the spike and the distance  the boy is from the nearest point of the tower.

Consider the set of vowels, V={a,e,i,o,u}. can u find a word that contains all of these vowels in the order they are listed? ( the vowels may be separated by other letters)

It's not a trick! There's wrong division in the course of dividing both sides of the equation (x+1)+(x-1)=x-1 by x-1.

Mr Apple, and Mr Jack have an 8 gallon container full of wine.
They also have two empty containers whose capacities are
5 gallons and 3 gallons respectively.
How can the wine be poured using all three containers so that
Mr Apple and Mr Jack each have 4 gallons  of wine?
