Ok, it has to be in opposition. Thanks for the correction, Jane
I'm made of carbon, while mason seems to be made of methane
I live in the Philippines
It looks good!! Nice job!
I have a different answer for
How about this...
A man went to a psychiatrist...
Man: Can you cure my neighbour? He thinks he's part of an orchestra and sings all day and night!
Psy: I'll do the best I can...
(one week later)
Man: Wow! You're very good! He now only sings occasionally, and for a short while only!
How did you stop his delusion?
Psy: I didn't. I just gave him a smaller part.
Ok, so it's like this one:
And, by substituting to the first equation, you get...
So now, to check, substitute again...
Ok...right?
Yeah, how about a bluish background for the infinity symbol?
Congratz, Mathys! you got it correct!
how about the Philippine economy?
That would be exciting enough to report, don't you think?
You could show the Philippine Peso exchange rate, and its relation to The rise and fall of the economy.
PS. I don't know anything about statistics, except for the fact that they use charts. Good Luck!
How about an infinity symbol inside a pair of set braces?
Seriously, however, the infinity symbol would be very nice
Hello there. So tell us more about yourself...
(mind though, the rules if you are 13 years old below[like me], never give out contact info without permission from parents)
Well, you still got it, whether or not the paper was 4.5 meters squared.
So, no. 6:
The Nhoj Case Files #6: The Case of The Hidden Will
On my way to my client and her two grown-up children's house, I reflected on the phone call I just had. It seems that my clients father(who was not in good terms with her) had recently passed away, leaving two hidden wills inside two envelopes in his study table(a wealthy businessman, he was a neat freak, and organized everything). One gave everything to my client's son , whilst the other to his sister.
"Well, can you figure this out?", said the son, Jake.
"Yeah, just get it over with and give everything to me," said the daughter, Natalie.
"Before I can,"I replied,"show me the letters, please."
Both letters were typewritten, and both had the grandfather's signature.
"Except for the straight creases in Jake's letter," my client explained,"both are exactly the same.
"My brother is a very good forger. He could have copied our grandfather's signature," said Natalie.
"Am not!"
"Are too!"
"Am not!"
For adults, they still act like children.
I finally stopped them, saying "I already know whom to give your grandfather's property"
So, here, you have to figure out who inherits the grandfather's property. It's actually pretty easy...Good Luck!
Did she write about a rabbit named Peter and had a name of ?
Oh, wait.
Never mind...
I can't delete the first post, hehe.
Sorry, don't get angry at me. They SEEMED to not work for me this past three days...
Is there something wrong with the math tags? I can't seem to use them.
Like this:
yeah! Maybe we could ask the person who uploaded that artwork in guestbook to lend it to mathisfunforum?
Haha. You got it! ...
So, answer #5 yet?
And no. 5:
The Nhoj Case Files #5: The Case Of The Included Letters
"What about these letters? These has to be original letters to the Count!" my client said, desperate to get at least one cent from the package he received which includes, not only the fake photograph, but a collection of letters as well.
"OK, then. Describe these letters," I said
"Well, they are 8.5 x 21 inches in size, the same with papers used in that period. They are enclosed in antique window envelopes, designed with the trademark design of the Count's favorite post office." He said. Oh boy...
"Just throw everything out," I sighed, cutting the call short. Sometimes, historians can be very farsighted.
We have a problem set as a project, and this is one of the problems there. We have not yet taken this up, and this is due very soon!
So, two runners were running the same track. it took the first runner 3 min. and 45 sec., whilst the slower runner took 4 minutes. Given that the difference of their rates is 0.04m/s, determine the rates of the two runners.
We have to answer this in a linear equation in one variable.
Please, just give the process or formula.
how about "good math" ?
It's "matemáticas buenas"
Here is no.4:
The Nhoj Case Files #4: The Case Of The 2 Million Dollar Photograph
Rrrrrrrrrrrrrring! darn this cellphone. When I retire, I'll throw it down the river. But right now...
"What? you found the what? Ok, are you sure?"
My client seems to have found the Portrait of Jaspuar, one of the oldest photographs taken by man, dated at least 1820's. It is believed to be worth two million. Of course, we have to be sure.
"Well, I am well versed with Jaspuar history, and I can fairly assume with certainty that this is the Portrait of Jaspuar!"
"How can you be so sure?"
"Well, it shows the Count of Jaspuar sitting down in the red armchair riddled with jewels. Behind him is a painting of his grandfather, with his trademark coat. I'm telling you, this is the real photograph!"
"Hmm, I'm not so sure about that. You may know more about Jaspuar history than me, But I am more sure than you that this photograph is fake!"
This time, prove that the photograph is fake.
Let's see if I get what you mean:
So, 76% percent of your grade is already 80%. You need a 75% to get A...
80(.76)+.24x ≥ 75
60.8+ 0.24x ≥ 75
0.24x ≥ 75-60.8
0.24x/0.24 ≥ 14.2/0.24
x ≥ 59.16
So, you have to get 60% in your exam to get exactly 75%.
Any higher, you'll still pass. Any lower, you'll fail.
Well, I'm from Cam. Sur in Bicol.
Oh and Ganesh, it's Quezon.
Hmm, if I didn't know myself, I might think I'm American ,too. So, hakuna matata
