I went through a similar post of Janefairfax or somebody where absolute values formulas were there for some programming purposes...
Don't know where to find that post..

X*Y-(X+Y)=9K
(X-1)(Y-1)=9K+1
for k=0, 1, 2 etc..
for k=0
(X-1)(Y-1)=1=1*1=-1*-1
X=2 Y=2 or X=0 Y=0 and so on....

8 times 5 is 40 and 8 + 5 = 13.
40 - 36 = 4 and 13 - 9 = 4
yes.. (8,5) is a solution! U just substituted the values in place of (X,Y) whereas i wanna know HOW TO GET THESE VALUES!?

its X x Y or X multiplied by Y

EEG is Electro-Encephalo-Gram/Graph and is a Scan of the ALMIGHTY BRAIN !!!
Similarly...
ECG is Electro-Cardio-Gram/Graph (related to the HEART) and EMG is Electro-Myo-Gram/Graph (related to the MUSCLES)!

All the Numbers were once invited to a party. No Sooner than Later did all the numbers Gathered Together (like Evens, Odds, Positives, Negatives etc.) Except ZERO (the Real Hero)!

I know a Rule used for filling in Any Magic Square with Odd no. of Squares (9, 25, 49 etc.). It can be found in Wikipedia.. Search for Magic Squares!!
