so i would get y=-1x-2

17. y = (1/2)x - 3
y = (3/2)x – 1

#17- y=2x-4
        -4   -4

y-4=2x
-4  -4

y=-2

18. x + y = 2
4y = -4x + 8

#18-
4y=-4x+8
-4x+8=4y
4x+4y=8
0+12y=12y

Y=2x
X+y=3

y-2x=0
x+y=3

2x+2y=6
y-2x=0

2y=6
Y=3

thanx alot bobbbym i really am having trouble with math these days hey i was wondering did i do  number 14 correct ??

ok so i tried to do it again

x=3-3y
x+3y=-6

3-3y=x
x+3y=-6

3x=-5x

x=-5/3

ok so i tried again i hope i did this right

3-3y=x
x+3y=-6

3x+9y=-18
3-3y=x
x+6y=-19x

6y=-19

y=-19/6

and are the rest correct

ok so like i totaly drag i know but  i tried like when i started this is what i did
y=2x
x+y=3

y=2x
x+y=3

y=3-x
y=2x
3-x+2x=y

so should i subtract instead ??
