um.. im not even sure that is a question that is answerable... what kind of geometry are you in? Like what are u studying in particular?

Haha I was jk. Things rarely scare me anymore. What with all the crazy stuff I've been through and seen? Along with all the slasher movies I've watched? Pfft! Other than exams and spiders and seeing old people make-out, it takes alot to really scare me smile

Hi misheeru;

C) if R is a tangent line at M, then yes R is perpendicular to radius AM

You might find this helpful.

F) 3 common tangents can exist

ok so im having trouble telling the difference between the internal and external tangents. What is the diffence and how do you find them?

"the common internal tangent is?"

Ok so since it is on the inside i venture a guess and say the internal is segment AB? (on the first pic)

bobbym that pic frightens me just a little.....

Ok thanks bobbym... the vid on the page is having trouble but I can use the rest to help me.

Ok here the really tough part for me... finding the angles measurement or something rather... anyway I have virtually no clue on these...

theres a few so I'll used the sample questions again.

A-  If m DB = 150 Degrees, then angle A =?

B- If m angle C = 63 degrees, then m angle BDR =?

C- If m angle RDC = 120 degrees, then m DAC =?

Heya

I need some help getting better with geometry! My grade is at stake and i really need to get this stuff so any help is really appreciated! Arigato big_smile!

My stuff mainly about circles so they all  have to do with Arc, tangents, diameters, chords etc.

Here are some things im having trouble with:

(they all relate to the picture wich is posted with it)

A-  the common internal tangent is?

B-  the common external tangent is?

C- radius AM is perpendicular to line R, yes or no?

D- is the point of tangency of line S to circle A , the letter M? yes or no?

F- how many possible common tangents to circles A and B can exist?

ack! dont apologies if ur gonna keep doing it!!!! sheesh!

its ok i omg and wow myself all the time

I Said No Rolling Smilies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

XD

#1716 Re: Help Me ! » How do I figure this? » 2010-03-11 07:28:10

I am stuck on this as well.

it is a  true or false question??

The measure of angle CAD is (0.3)(arc GE minus arc CD)

#1717 Re: Guestbook » Hi » 2010-03-11 07:21:40

idk....  say anything i dont care as long as its more that one word and there are NO rolling smilies .. say anything!!!!!!

#1719 Re: Guestbook » Fbi » 2010-03-11 07:14:56

T_T

man... that makes no fricken' sence whatsoever T_T

How do u call something crazy with no good reason?

#1720 Re: Help Me ! » How do I figure this? » 2010-03-11 07:11:53

alos the diameter of a cirle is twice the radii right?

So for this the answer is RS if it is asking me wut the diameter of A is?

Also wut is the common tangents in this?

#1721 Re: Help Me ! » How do I figure this? » 2010-03-11 07:09:57

Also..

What is the measure of an angle formed by two secants intersecting inside the circle equals?

is it ½ the sum of the intercepted arcs?

#1722 Re: Guestbook » Hi » 2010-03-11 07:08:25

man don;t agree with me,  say something intresting for crying out loud! sad

#1725 Re: Guestbook » Hi » 2010-03-11 06:21:58
