Do they have Math Forum Awards?

We should host one, it'd be an event to rival that of the Grammies.

OMG my aunt was is in the marines and she said one of those got in one night .

She said they were asleep and there was a huge THUNK!

Apparently  one of the other people sleeping in the little metal cubicle chamber thingy, had felt something sticky on there face and had swatted it off really hard

The THUNK was the sound of its body as it hit the wall!

I also read this:

Most people don't know that the camel spider can also be found in the southwest U.S. and Mexico. While the recent buzz is all about the Middle Eastern camel spider, its North American cousin has no shortage of tall tales. In Mexico, they're known as matevenados, which means "deer killers."

Remind me never to go to Mexico >_<

Oh and bobbym I heard they only get about 8 inches...which is still not small as it is still enough to make me pee my pant if i saw on anywhere near me...

I found a web site and poeple have wrote about there encounters one of my fave was this:

June 11th, 2008 This is my experience w/ these darn monsters they call spiders. I was stationed at Bagram Airbase w/ an MP company in Afganistan in 2003-2004, while walking back from the MWR minding my own bussiness daydreaming when I would be going home, I encountered a camel spider, had to have been at least 5 inches big, not including the legs, was walking beside me this scared the hell out of me and I broke into a trot. Well, there and behold, this thing still next to me which scared me even more, but was even more scarier was when it tried to jump onto my leg. I screamed like a little girl ( I AM A 5'10, 180 LBS. MAN) and took off running as fast I could trying to get away from this darn thing, it kept jumping on my leg and I would kick it off, it would jump back on my leg and again I would kick it off this went on for a few moments but it felt like forever ( I thought I was going to have a heart attack) I wanted to shoot it but thought that if I missed it I would really math this thing off so I didn't. I kept running. I eventually got away from it and will never forget that nightmare, it'll haunt me forever. That encounter w/ the spider was worser then when I had a scorpian crawl up onto my foot while wearing shower shoes ( flip flops). Enjoy SGT. S.

I am not a geek. Misheeru's acronym is right on the money. That's what I used to be. Now I am:

http://www.mathisfunforum.com/postgalle … ame=me.gif

That deffinition is pitiful

There are different Genre's of geek just like music

There subjects like math geek, science geek

Then there'e computor geek

I qualify as a Manga-Geek which is one of the less intellegent of the Geek Types

I prefer the term Otaku anyway..

O_O wow i missed like 2 pages of this thread!! sad
