Do you know you are right? Would you bet on it?

Re: Equations with parenthesis?

Of course not. If I were sure of my answers I would not waste your time asking for help.

I was not being sarcastic, I really do not see the other mistake you mentioned.

Re: Equations with parenthesis?

How poetic of you...

How about: -2x²y³ · 14x²y³? No parenthesis this time...

Re: Equations with parenthesis?

No, biblical not poetic.

This problem is no different. Just remember when you multiply two quantities that have the same base like x^2 * x^4, you add the exponents. So go ahead.

She is gone again.

Sorry, I had some chores to attend to. I am back now.

-2x²y³ · 14x²y³ = -28^4y^6?

We will see, now won't we?

(3x²y^6 )^7 = 2187x^17 y^42

How does that look?

Depends on who is looking.

That answer is correct. I feel exhilarated. I am not tired at all. I think we can do more.

Um... I think it is:

9a^7 b + 16ab^6

I shudder to ask but... how does that look?
