I had this equation on my test, yesterday and I just couldn't do it. Hopefully someone in here will do better than me.
Y'''+Y' = X^2.
I was only able to solve the homogenous equation Y'''+Y' = 0.
My answer was y = C1+C2*cos x+ C3 *sinx.

Hi Cosmopolite,
"Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense" - Buddha?
"Data! Data! Data!" he cried impatiently. "I can't make bricks without clay."
