I know that I am here at least 5 months already here. But, regarding new users, they don't see their signature at once. In SkyscraperCity, my former forum in January and February, I put my signature already, and it appeared at once, even though I am not there for a month. Why here? Why should I wait for a month to see my signature?

Hi;
SkyscraperCity is very unwise to do what they are doing. Either they have tons of spam in those signatures or ( and this is unlikely ) the spambots do not know of their existence.
A member has to be here a while before they can have a signature. This weeds out some of the hit and miss spammers.

Oh. Why? Signatures in less than a month membership = Spam?

Spammers do not wish to hang around for more than say a week or so.

Not exactly. But someone who stays the month and gets the posts is probably serious.
