I'm on holiday!
I finished school today and now I have a long, long summer break (until late January/early February). At the moment, I have plenty of things to do but I'm sure once the holidays are around halfway through, I'll be bored and wanting to go back. Anyway, for part of the holidays I'm going overseas... and I'll probably be catching up on all the things I wanted to do during the year, like read some books, and clean (yes, clean!) my room - it's a real mess. Hopefully I'll also get a bit of sleep.
If anyone else is finished or finishing school soon, I wish you a relaxing holiday!

I'm on holiday from the day before insomnia, so ha. I go back in early January.
However, I will smash all holiday records next summer because I'll be off from mid-May to late October, so double, triple ha.

Have a great holiday!

Thanks. Now the excitement has kind of worn off. School looks inviting.

Mathsisfun: We can actually see France on a good day, on the East coast. That's the best place to see it.
Justlooking: Probably just stay around St. Malo (That's where the ferry goes), or go down to our house (if my parents let me and my mates use it). It's near Combourg, bout 30-45 minutes South-ish from St. Malo by car, if you take the motorways.

Don't listen to him, he's going there to insult French people in English.
Boy let me tell you what:
I bet you didn't know it, but I'm a fiddle player too.
And if you'd care to take a dare, I'll make a bet with you.

And to say things in "Jèrriais" (Jersey French) to thoroughly confuse them.
But seriously, Insomnia, your parents have a house in France?
So when you are there, do you speak French to the shopkeepers, etc, or English?

Or do you just point and grunt?
No, really, how good is your French?

I can survive in French. My parents get me to do all the ordering.
However, I do use English alot as alot of the words are the same. Or if I get annoyed I can swear at French people in French or English.
It's only a small house. Not as big as mine over here.
