From the information given, we can deduce that f(-2) = 0 and f(2) = 4.

-8a + 4b -8 = 0

8a + 4b -4 = 4

Subtract the two equations:

16a -4 = -4

16a = 0

a = 0.

Add the two equations: 8b -12 = 4

8b = 16

b = 2.

**f(x) = 2x²+x-6**
