Good Question.
It depends on my mood, I suppose. From gentle New Age stuff through Chillout and Lounge and on to House, Trance and Techno. Plus a little rock, pop and classical.
If there is feeling in the music I like it.
I don't like boring stuff that has been done a thousand times already.

At the moment: Reading, carpentry, walking, going to the beach.
But strangely I don't feel like reading about carpentry while walking at the beach.

music or reading <-> That is just mean. Without reading there would be no mathsisfun.com, yet music is such a big part of my life.
