Devanté and Patrick: Consider yourself honorary Players, complete with badge. One of you might get to be a Slayer as well.

Espeon: You might be able to bend the '13 and over' rule. That was there originally because the game required emailing and people younger than 13 shouldn't give out their emails because of safety and stuff. But now that the forum kind of has a PM system, we might be able to get around that. We'll need to wait and see what MathsIsFun says.

Yes, that's why I said kind of. Being able to send young people PMs is just as bad as knowing their email address, and so at the moment only MathsIsFun and moderators have the ability to send PMs. Everyone else can only reply to PMs they've been sent.

But if MathsIsFun gave everyone playing the ability to send PMs then everything would be OK.

Hmm...what kind of range number of members would be ideal for the game to start? I pretty much doubt 4 people could play if the game is planned to last for a while.

The more people the better - it's too easy with this amount. I can't be the murderer; then someone gets killed, so automatically the remaining person knows who the murderer is. So, we'll wait for a few more to join ... Rod, ganesh, Zach and anyone else.

Also, as only Moderators and Rod have access to PMs, I'd say that we should use the E-mails.

Unless you elect a single person to rely all messages from the murderer to the specific target. This would rule out any cheating like the target telling another person who the murderer was.

Of course, the Single Person would not be able to guess.

Replace *** with 3, and then with the next nine digits of pi, without the decimal point.

The next 9 digits of pi = 11899.2711², BTW - If needed.

Well, technically, only Rod and the mods have access to people's email addresses as well.
You raise a good point about the possibility of cheating, but I'm sure everyone here is trustworthy. Besides, if you cheat then you're ruining the point of playing.

In other news, I see that Rod has done a super stealthy ninja change on Espeon's member status, so she can send PMs now. So she can play if we play that way.

I think we should post all the rules and conditions for playing Wink Murder. After all, some future players of Wink Murder that are members of MathsIsFun haven't read the rules (not that I am one of them). I'm suggesting that we should post a quick recap of all the rules, is all.
